Terms of Service

These terms apply when you engage Locksmith Excel Enterprise (the "Company", "we", "our", or "us") for any locksmith service — including car key replacement, smart lock installation, access card duplication, autogate remote cloning, commercial locksmith work, safe box opening, lock change and any other locksmithing service we offer in Petaling Jaya and the surrounding areas.

1. Service scope

We provide locksmith and related security hardware services for residential, automotive and commercial customers. The specific scope of any job is what we agree with you over WhatsApp, phone, in person or by email before the work begins.

2. Quotations and pricing

We agree on a price (or a clearly stated price range) with you before any cutting, drilling, programming or fitting begins. Where a job requires on-site assessment to confirm pricing — for example, commercial master key systems or safe box opening — we explain that upfront and provide the final price before commencing work.

Indicative starting prices on this website (e.g. car keys from RM150, lock changes from RM120) are guides only. Final pricing depends on your specific lock, key, vehicle or system.

3. Proof of ownership

For safety-sensitive jobs — including residential lockouts, all-keys-lost car key creation, and safe box opening — we require reasonable proof that you are the lawful owner or occupier. We reserve the right to refuse service if proof cannot be provided.

4. Non-destructive work

Wherever possible, we open locks, safes and vehicles non-destructively. Drilling or destructive entry is used only as a last resort, with your explicit agreement, and only after we've explained the implications (e.g. replacement parts required).

5. Workmanship and warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. If a lock we installed or a key we programmed fails due to our work (rather than third-party hardware fault, misuse or normal wear), we'll return and put it right at no extra labour charge for a reasonable period — typically 30 days from the original visit. Parts warranty follows the original manufacturer's terms.

6. Hardware sold by us

Locks, padlocks, smart locks, remotes and cards we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty. We'll provide receipts and any documentation needed for warranty claims.

7. Cancellation and no-shows

We don't charge a call-out fee just for talking to us. If you ask us to dispatch, then cancel after we've left the workshop and travelled to your address, we may charge a reasonable travel and time fee — we always tell you what this is at the point of cancellation.

8. Payment

We accept cash, online bank transfer, DuitNow QR and credit card. Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the price you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of business or lost time) arising from work performed.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
